New pricing structure
Acron is very excited to announce a brand new pricing structure for our top-of-the range, multi featured Loan administration package. There is a need to continually improve our growing customer base and to offer clients a continuos stream of program enhancements. In response to this we have changed our pricing strategy to now use pay per use.
How does it work?
When you first buy the program there is an initial cost that covers the basic software, installation, set-up and some training. In addition the user also buys per pay use credits (called PUCs) As you use certain of LendMaster's features so some of these PUCs are deducted. When you reach a PUC level of zero then those features are not available to you and you have to buy additional (top-up) PUCs.
What are the advantages for the user?
This method has a number of big advantages for the user:
- Low initial cost. Since Acron derives its income from the sale of PUCs and not from the initial sale of the software, the initial cost is lower.
- Costs linked to business activity. The cost of using LendMaster is directly linked to your levels of usage. When you are starting up or are experiencing lower business activity then you are not saddled with a fixed fee.
- Program updates and fixes as well as telephonic support are included in the cost of PUCs. This means you get the latest great features and any bug fixes free of charge.
- You get all the features. The full functionality that was previous sold as 3 separate modules now become available to you at no extra cost. Additional modules (like the distributable calculator and replication) are also being re-aligned to work with the new pricing structure.
- A commitment to continued improvement. Since Acron now becomes dependant on the continuing support of its customers it becomes their imperative to continuously improve the product and service levels.
How many PUCs ?
There are various areas that attract a PUC cost. The most important being the creation of a new loan. When you confirm a new loan there is PUC cost based on the length of the loan. The longer the loan the more PUCs it costs. For loans up to 24 months the cost is 1 PUC per month. Loans with repayment terms up to 60 months (5 years) costs the 24 PUCs plus 1 PUC for every six months (or part of it) after 24. So a 60 month loan will cost 30 PUCs. For loans longer 60 months the PUC cost goes up with 1 PUC for every year (or part thereof) after 5 years. There is a table at the bottom of this page that details loan periods and PUC costs. The following is a list of activities that attract PUCs at the moment:
- New loans - The number of PUCs varies depending on the repayment term of the loan. See the table below.
- Ad-hoc transactions - Each ad-hoc transaction that you enter on the loan itself costs 1 PUC.
- Loan applications - If you pre-process a loan with a pre-qualifier calculator then the application will cost you 1 PUC.
- On-line credit checks - When you ask for an on-line credit check and the enquiry is successfully executed then that will cost 1 PUC.
- Batch processes - There are certain batch processes that also attract a PUC cost. The cost of a batch is 1 PUC per 20 lines (or part thereof) in a batch. The current batch processes are:
- Post of accounting transactions (to Pastel);
- Exporting and Importing payment batches (not exporting to Excel);
- Processing Compuscan batches (when returned by Compuscan);
What do these PUCs cost?
The cost per PUC depends on your level of use. For high volume users the cost is lower. The pricing is determined on the volume of PUCs purchased over the preceding 12 months. Please check our pricing page for the lates PUC pricing.
